What Bruce Springsteen said was a moment he'd '...been waiting 50 years' for started great but went south when someone with much more in the gonads department than the common sense one decided to cut the mics on The Boss and Paul McCartney as they wrapped up a scorching set during the Hard Rock Calling Festival in London over the weekend.  The move was made to avoid violating curfew as Sir Paul and the E Street Band were ripping through an epic rendition of Twist and Shout.  The decision got guitarist Steve Van Zandt riled enough to tweet '...when did England become a police state?' and go off on the authorities for ruining a good time instead of catching criminals.
