Steve Van Zandt recently told a Philadelphia radio station that a Bruce Springsteen solo album could materialize before the E Street Band is summoned back into the studio or out on tour.  FMQB, a music industry source, reports the E Street guitarist as saying, 'I don't know this for a fact, but I expect him to possibly put something out that's more of a solo nature before we get back together.'  A new solo release would be the first from Bruce since his 2006 Seeger Sessions album.
