Gossip rags and sites have been feasting on the romance between John Mellencamp and actress Meg Ryan since the two were first spotted hand-in-hand a few weeks ago. The frenzy reached a new level when photos emerged showing what appears to be a gold engagement band on Ryan's ring finger as the pair left his concert at Massey Hall in Toronto. Even a novice can Photoshop a ring onto a finger, but the pics and blaring captions provoked no angry denials from Mellencamp's publicist. Unless one comes soon, it looks like the pair plans on getting married - unless they already are.
