Ringo Starr wants to get into the software game.  The former Beatles drummer has submitted a trademark application for the use of his first name on software associated with computer gaming and non-platform specific 'wireless devices'.  Both Ringo and Paul McCartney helped in the development of the ambitious Rock Band edition based on the Beatles that more than 2 million gamers bought.
