After a shortened residency in exile uptown last year (story), the Allman Brothers Band's return to it's accustomed stomping grounds, the Beacon Theatre, this March has been met with such strong ticket demand that 5 additional shows have been added to the 8 previously announced dates.  This year's series will now round the total number of concerts the legendary Southern Rockers have done at the 2,000 seat venue to an even 200.  The 2011 residency will celebrate the 40th anniversary of At The Fillmore East.  The landmark double live album was recorded a few dozen blocks south of the Beacon in mid-March of 1971. The hottest ticket should be for March 12, one of the two actual anniversary nights of the 1971 Fillmore shows, making it a night likely to draw some very special guests.  The full lineup of dates is March 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26.  The March 21-26 dates go on sale Saturday (1/8).
