There is no denying the talent of Carlos Santana.  But Carlos curbed the enthusiasm of fans eager to hear the kind of incendiary riffs that made him a Rock legend by overloading recent releases with pop leaning materail.  The next project just might recapture their interest.  Versions of Sunshine Of Your Love, Little Wing, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Fortunate Son, Can't You Hear Me Knockin' from the Stones and Smoke On The Water are included in the yet to be titled release expected out late this spring.  The guitarist promises Billboard "...when you hear this, you're gonna do 'Damn!' because it sounds so powerful, with vitality and vibrancy."
