The LA law firm of Glaser, Weil, Fink, Jacobs & Shapiro (yes, the Shapiro in the OJ Simpson case) has had a lot of high profile clients, one of them Rod Stewart. The firm represented Stewart in a case related to a claim against him a promoter filed after Stewart canceled a Las Vegas concert on short notice nearly a decade ago. That long legal battle and another involving a trademark infringement suit brough by another promoter reportedly left Stewart on the hook for millions in legal fees to the firm, which is now said to have started legal action against its former client for failing to pay up.
