While Axl Rose hasn't joined the process yet, the former publicist for Guns N' Roses tells Classic Rock magazine that Slash has been in the studio working on songs. Arlett Vereecke is quoted as saying, 'They're definitely doing something there in the studio. Axl hasn't been there, but Slash is definitely in there and it's not for anyone else.' The reunited group's former manager adds that Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan have logged recent studio time together. That account was later dismissed by Stradlin (story). The GNR reunion launches live in Las Vegas with dates April 8 & 9.
