MD orders McCartney to cancel Tokyo concerts

A virus Paul McCartney contracted forced him to postpone his Saturday (5/17) scheduled concert at the National Stadium in Tokyo until Monday. A posting from the McCartney camp on the day in between the original date and the rescheduled one indicates the 5/19 show cannot go on either.  Doctors have apparently ordered 'complete rest' for the former Beatle.  The message to fans read, 'Paul has only ever had to reschedule a handful of shows in his entire career and is so upset about this situation, he hates to let people down. This morning he told his staff he was going to tryand perform tonight against doctors orders, but his team, along with the doctors, wouldn't allow it.' Paul himself added a personal note to fans:'Thank you so much for your kind messages of support. I'm so very touched. Unfortunately my condition has not improved overnight. I was really hoping that I'd be feeling better today. I'm so disappointed and sorry to be letting my fans down, Love, Paul'.  Ever the gentleman.
