Doug Aldrich has exited David Coverdale's Whitesnake.  The guitarist issued a statement thanking David for '...such a killer run together!' and for the 10 year stretch the two recorded, toured and were '...always pushing and inspiring each other!'.  As for future plans, Aldrich dismissed speculation he is leaving to launch a solo career but dropped a hint that what he has in mind could also involve Coverdale when he wrote he will, '...hopefully do a statement with my brutal brother DC shortly.'
