The sheets of paper Bob Dylan composed the lyrics to Like A Rolling Stone on will be sold next month. The Sotheby's auction could well attract bids above the $1 million mark for the four pieces of hotel stationary with the words to one of the early anthems of Rock. An additional attraction to high-end collectors is the fact that the pages reveal the evolution of the song through revisions. The 'How does it feel' lead-in to the chorus of the song could have been ''get down and kneel' or 'shut up and deal'. the manuscript also contains additional notations and drawings by Dylan, including high-heel shoes, a rooster and a hat. The lyrics were acquired directly from Dylan by a friend and business associate in 2011.
