Little Feat '76 concert coming to DVD (video)

They may well qualify as the most under-rated band of any decade, but musicians and fans that value chops over showmanship know that pure talen made Little Feat a band that was second-to-none.   The collective talent of the  lineup was on display in June of 1976 when the Feat hit the stage during the the Pink Pop Festival in Holland.  With Lowell George out front, the band delivered a set in broad day light that was lights-out.  The performance at Burgemeester Damen Sportpark in Geleen, Netherlands is a musical tour-de-force that featured outstanding performances from each member.
Eagle Rock releases the set on CD and DVD on April 22.  Here is an ear and eyefull of the kind of musicianship fans witnessed that afternoon.
