L'Wren Scott, a close companion to Mick Jagger for more than a decade, was discovered dead in her New York apartment on Monday (3/17), an apprarent suicide.  Jagger, on tour with the Stones in Australia, was said to be stunned by the news. Scott's assistant reportedly discovered her unconscious body in her Manhattan apartment shortly after 10am.  She evidently had hunge herself. She was pronounced dead shortly after arriving by ambulance at a nearby hospital.  The two met when Wren was contracted as a stylist during a 2001 Stones photo session. The stauesque 6'3" Scott was 23 years younger and 8" taller than Jagger.
