Dave davies tells Rolling Stone magazine that a decision on doing a Kinks reunion tour in 2014 is up to his brother, Ray.  That recent pronouncement would seem to make prospects for the group actually making it on to a stage much better than they have been in the past.  Previous attempts to reunite have been under Ray's initiative.  Bass player Pete Quaife passed away in 2010 and Dave has been slowly regaining his ability to make music after suffering a stroke nearly a decade ago.
