Jeff Beck and actor/rocker Johnny Depp have recorded a new album together. The announcement came when the two recently shared the stage on a few songs as Beck opened a European tour. Fans weren't the only ones surprised by the news. Beck himself seems to be. In revealing the project, the guitar great reportedly said "I'm gonna take this opportunity to tell you I met this guy five years ago and we haven't stopped laughing since." He then added, "We actually made an album. I don't know how it happened. It will be out in July".
