George Harrison was never totally satisfied with the Phil Spector produced All Things Must Pass album that got released on this day in 1970. His son Dhani set out to do something his father wanted to but never got around to before his untimely death - remix and re-release it. Since beginning the project with acclaimed engineer Paul Hicks, Dhani said they have been, "...digging through mountains of tapes, and they just keep coming - boxes and boxes of them." The process will result in an expanded re-release including alternate takes and possibly songs that were not included on the ambitious triple album set. Date of the release is tba.
