Eric Clapton reunites with some familiar friends on a new album scheduled for a March 12 release.  Old Sock, a collection of several of EC's favorites by other artists, will include two new Clapton originals - Every Little Thing and Gotta Get Over.  Guitarist JJ Cale sings and adds his guitar to the song Angel, Steve Winwood, Clapton's band mate in Blind Faith and, more recently, a frequent collaborator and touring partner of Eric's, adds Hammond B3 parts to Still Got The Blues, Paul McCartney sings and plays bass on All of Me.  Other contributers include drummer Jim Keltner on Our Love Is Here To Stay and Chaka Khan, vocals on Get On Over.  EC regulars Willie Weeks (bass). Steve Gadd (drums) and Chris Stainton (keyboards) play on multiple tracks.
