A federal judge in Los Angeles convinced former Journey front man Steve Perry and a musical collaborator he was suing over release rights to some demos the two worked on to leave the court room and work out a settlement on their own Tuesday (2/18). About an hour and a half later, Perry and Phil Brown emerged from the room they hunkered down in with their lawyers and announced they had reached a settlement. As is often the case in these situations, an apparent condition of the agreement was that details would not be disclosed by either party.
