A scheduled appearance of Lynyrd Skynyrd during the Republican National Convention in Tampa was cancelled due to concerns over Hurricane Ivan. This weekend, the Southern Rock institution will show some non-partisan spirit by performing at Ball celebrating the inauguration of Barack Obama.  Skynyrd headlines the Sunday (1/20) 2013 Heros Red, White & Blue Inaugural Concert Ball.  The invite-only celebration honoring members of the military is being hosted by Speaker of the House John Boehner and will include members of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, the Warrior Transition Brigade of Walter Reed Medical Center and the Tuskegee Airmen.
