The debacle the scuttled Woodstock 50th Anniversary concert turned into at least had one positive; John Fogerty has donated the advance he received from the backers of the concert to an organization providing housingf for homeless veterans.  The donation goes to Veterans Village, a Las Vegas outfit converting large scale containers into comfortable shelter for vets.  Fogerty, an Army veteran himself, has called Vegas a home away from home during his residency concert stints in Vegas.
