Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, the musical product of the combined talents of Stephen King and John Mellencamp, opened last spring, leaving many wondering when the soundtrack would see the light of day. A release date of March 19 has finally been confirmed for the album, which was co-produced by John with T-Bone Burnett and includes songs from Elvis Costello, Taj Mahal, Kris Kristofferson, Sheryl Crow and others. The release will arrive in a number of formats, including one that features copies of the hand written lyrics and a special DVD. Mellencamp's sole performance credit is attached to final song on the soundtrack, a song titled Truth.
