Gov't Mule Rocks 2018 in

Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule Rocked 2017 out and '18 in during a New Year's Eve set at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Set one focused on Mule originals, a cover of the '91 Allman Brothers Band song Kind Of Bird and then a combo of In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed and Les Brers In A Minor.  Set two included a number of covers including Steely Dan's Daddy Don't Live in New York City No More, Something In The Air from Thunderclap Newman and then a series of revolution themed songs: Revolution from Dr. John and Bob Marley, Children Of The Revolution from T-Rex, Gil Scott Heron's The Revolution Will Not Be Televised and the Clash song Revolution Rock.  After covering segments of Mountnain Jam and Melissa, the group got back into a political mode with Neil Young's Rockin' In The Free World, Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix and a covers of Fortunate Son and For What It's Worth.
