New Year's Eve 1969 and New Year's day 1970, Jimi Hendrix did his first performances with the follow-up band to the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Band Of Gypsys, at New York's Fillmore East, doing two concerts both nights.  The double live album culled from those concerts was released on March 25th of 1970.
