The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced the roster of inductees that will be enshrined in the Cleveland music museum on Saturday, April 14. Heading the list, and long ovedue for the honor in the minds of legions of Classic Rock fans, is the Moody Blues. Bon Jovi rode into a first round eligible induction on the crest of more than 1 million fan votes. The Cars also get member status, but another Boston band many feel deserve it got passed over again - the J. Geils Band. Also getting recognition from the Hall is Nina Simone. The exclusion of several other nominees that many Rock fans consider inappropriate for a Rock museum makes the 2018 class one of the least contentious ones in ages for the Rock Hall.
