Pontiac Silverdome demolition fails (watch)

The Pontiac Silverdome was scheduled to become jsut a pile of rubble Sunady morning (12/3), but the Michigan arena that was the home of the the Detroit Lions from 1975- 2001 and hosted an April 30 1977 Led Zeppelin performance that set an indoor concert attendance record of more than 76,000 withstood the attempted implosion. Bob Seger, the Rolling Stones, the Who and many others also made Silverdome tour stops.
