Robert Plant seemed to confirm that he and singer Patty Griffin are a married couple when speaking with the Independent, but a spokesman for the former Led Zeppelin member later backtracked on his behalf - claiming he was only referencing the fact that he plans on spending a lot more time in the US. Plant, who divorced his former wife in 1983, formed Band Of Joy with Griffin a couple of years ago. When together in the states, the couple is based in a rented house in Austin, Texas that Plant describes as an '...old crack house' so funky that termites fly out of the walls if he taps on the table. It's a good thing John Bonham isn't around to visit!
