With pitchers and catchers reporting to training camps in Florida and Arizona next week, baseball fans are starting to eye home schedules to see which games to plan on beingat. For Metallica's San Francisco Giants fans, the game against the defending world champion Chicago Cubs on August 7th will be a priority. That is the date of the 5th annual Metallica Night at the Giants home park. The Bay Area hard Rockers will belt out the national anthem before the game, toss out the ceremonial first pitch and participate in other activities to interact with the players and fans. Ticket packages offered for the game that night include a Metallica/Giants T-Shirt. Partial proceeds from the sale of those tickets go to the Posey Family Foundation, founded by the veteran Giant to raise money to provide patient and family support to those in the battle against pediatric cancer.
