Dylan Goes Long On New Disc

Bob Dylan has written some epic tracks in his long, prolific career. Desolation Row from Highway 61 Revisited, Joey from Desire, Blonde On Blonde's Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands all logged in at around eleven minutes, Lilly, Rosemary & The Jack of Hearts from the 1975 masterpiece Blood On The Tracks ran close to nine and Highlands, a song on Time Out Of Mind, clocked in at 16+. Dylan's next, his 35th studio album, finds Bob going long again.  The album, slated for a September release, reportedly includes a nine minute tune and a 14 minute song about the Titanic, eclipsing Jamie Brockett's wild thirteen and a half minute 1969 song that used the epic ocean liner as a metaphor, Legend of the U.S.S. Titanic.
