Reports are emerging that a singer from the Philippines is expected to be named the new singer for Stone Temple Pilots.  John Borja has told Radio Republic that he thinks he is the leading contender for the role originally belonging to Scott Weiland and, later, Chester Bennington.  Borja, who considers Weiland 'irreplaceable', says he has no intention of attempting to duplicate the style of Bennington but adds that he is confident he will manage to do justice to Weiland's legacy.  Borja's STP medley audition is below.
