A tour to promote his new autobiography, My Cross To Bear, is being postponed so Gregg Allman can have some tests done in Jacksonville, FL to find out whether additional treatment might be needed to address issues that may be related to other recent medical issues.  Allman was sidelined for the last concert of the Allman Brothers Band's annual run of dates at the Beacon Theatre in New York s few weeks ago (story) and has had to deal with a number of other medical matters since undergoing a liver transplant in 2010.  Allman was upbeat and optimistic, saying, 'As soon as doctors give me the thumbs up to go back on the road, I will be heading out onto my book tour and I can't wait to meet all of my fans.'
