The James Gang has gotten together a few times in recent years and there has been talk about doing a new album.  The discussion has apparently been replaced by action. Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, who is on the verge of releasing his first solo effort in 20 years (story), is in Cleveland recording songs with Jimmy Fox and Dale Peters at the Lava Room of the Agora studios building. Studio owner Mike Brown says the sessions have also included drummer Joe Vitale and Cleveland's own Michael Stanley, and production of the project is being handled by Bill Szymczyk.
