Stones & Fleetwood Mac Scrap Tour Plans

Two highly anticipated 2012 tours will apparently not come together. Speaking during an interview for Playboy magazine, Mick Fleetwood expressed disappointment and frustration over the fact the band that bears his name will be on the shelf and blamed it on Stevie Nicks.  The drummer, who played on Stevie's 2011 album, calls the singer 'obsessed with her album in a very nice but inconvenient way', adding that he thinks she prefers not needing to make any concessions to other band members or having '...to worry about the other three of us asking her to do anything.'  Fleetwood went so far as to suggest that the group may never tour or record again.
The decision by the Rolling Stones not to do a anniversary tour seems to be more a matter of consensus - at least between the two members that call most of the shots.  Rolling Stone reports that both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards came to the decision that the band was not ready to go out in 2012.  Keith suggests that 2013 is actually a more appropriate year for a 50th anniversary tour because drummer Charlie Watts joined the group in January of 1963.  He also confirmed that there is a good possibility that the tour could include Bill Wyman.
