Amid reports that Aerosmith might debut a song from the group's next studio album on the season finale of American Idol comes word that one of the talent show's former contestants sings on at least one of the new songs.  Lauren Alaina, a runner-up in last year's season of AI, appeared last week on the show Steven Tyler judges on and the following day posted to her Twitter account that she followed the television guest slot up with a visit to the studio to record background vocals for the new Aerosmith album, adding, "#ISTHISREAL/Thank u Steven!"
