Letterman Show band leader Paul Shaffer also serves as the musical director for the annual Rock Hall Of Fame induction ceremony.  According to a quote attributed to Shaffer's Twitter account, the on-hand members of Guns N' Roses do not plan to participate musically as a group in the 2012 ceremony in Cleveland on April 14.  The tweet was pecked out in response to one asking him how long the ceremony was expected to run given the number of inductees.  Shaffer's response was 'Guns N' Roses will not be performing, so not as long as you would think.' Of course when it comes to GNR, expecting the unexpected is always advisable, so don't totally discount the possibility.
