Van Morrison, who sought and was granted a temporary ban on tabloids and other media outlets publishing information about his life the singer feels should be off limits, is seeking a new restriction apparently aimed at preventing newspapers from publishing information contained in private journals kept by GiGi Lee, the late business associate and the woman that Morrison is believed to have fathered a child with.  Both Lee and the child died of unrelated natural causes in the months following the boy's birth (story).  The original ban on coverage was prompted by sensationalistic coverage of the World, the Rupert Murdoch owned tabloid that later folded amid a scandal broke open over allegations the newspaper's employees used illegal means to gain access to the private messages stored on celebrity cell phones.
