Survivor Takes Aim At Gingrich

Mitt Romney isn't the only one taking shots at Newt Gingrich.  The band Survivor has filed a suit against the Republican presidential candidate contesting his campaign's unauthorized use of Eye Of The Tiger, the early 80's song that became a big hit for the group and featured in the movie Rocky IIISurvivor is the latest of many artists to take legal action against candidates - nearly all of them Republican - that look to gain political capital through the use of songs voters identify with.  Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Don Henley and David Byrne of the Talking Heads top the list of acts that have taken legal action against campaigns for using songs without permission. Most cases end with an apology, although a few have led to settlements.
