Former Creedence Clearwater Revival leader John Fogerty makes an appearance in the debut episode of The Finder, Thursday (1/12). Fogerty portrays a musician that hires the lead player in the show to track down a missing guitar.  John will remain connected to the show throughout its run, as the show's creator explained to Hollywood Reporter: '...somehow we dragooned John to write The Finder opening credits theme.' How much did the cast and crew like it? Enough that Hart Hanson said, '...we just all stood in awed silence and grinned at each other. If just the smallest skritch of John's magic rubs off on us, then we'll be forever grateful.'  Fogerty fans can be grateful for his association with the program, too.  The version of Fortunate Son he plays in the episode will be available as a free download during the week following the episode's airing on Fogerty's web site.
