We have to give the Grammys props for its decision to bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award on the Allman Brothers Band. Yeah, we know, it's about two decades overdue, but at least they got around to it.  There is a good chance most of the band will be on hand Feb. 12 for the induction ceremony because Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks and Warren Haynes are going head-to-head in the Best Blues Album category, Gregg for Low Country Blues, Trucks for his collaboration with wife Susan Tedeschi on the album Revelator and Haynes for his album Man In Motion.
