Fans taking in the Bob Seger concert Thursday (12/1) at Madison Square Garden found an unexpected additional member of the Silver Bullet Band for one song early in Seger's set when Bruce Springsteen came out to join Bob and the band on Old Time Rock 'n Roll. The pair alternated verses and Bruce added some blistering guitar to the nugget.  Bob joined the E Street Band for a version of Thunder Road when Springsteen's 1980 tour rolled into the Motor City.
Springsteen has also been confirmed as the keynote speaker at the SWSX in Austin, Texas in March, the annual music industry confab that draws thousands of musicians and tens of thousands of industry types and fans.
