Pete Townshend helped launch the Prince's Trust benefit series in 1982 with a concert that included Robert Plant and Phil Collins.  The 1996 edition in London's Hyde Park featured a complete live rendition of Quadrophenia.  Townshend looks forward to taking part in the November Rock Gala, saying', 'The Trust's reputation for putting on first class music concerts spans three decades and the band is delighted to be on board for this one.'  Question is, who is in 'the band' - or is the Who the band?
