Robert Plant Plays Intimate Gig

About 160 people lucky enough to be at the Bridges Community Centre in Monmouthshire, South Wales for a benefit concert recently got to hear Robert Plant do some covers and some Led Zeppelin tunes during a live set in tribute to Pat Moran, co-producer of some of Plant projects, who passed away in January after suffering from a rare form of dementia. Other notables contributing their talent to the cause included Mott The Hoople veteran Verden Allen, Dave Edmunds and Martin Chambers of the Pretenders.  Admission to the event? Just under $5!  Plant and the others signed items that will hit EBay to raise additional funds to for the Pick's Disease Support Group.
