No Bruce, But Sax Man Gets U2 Tribute

Expectations based on 'reliable sources' that Bruce Springsteen would appear with U2 Wednesday (7/20) proved unreliable, but the Irish band did offer tributes to the late E Street Band sax man Clarence Clemons a number of times during its Meadowlands concert.  Bono held up a large sign with his name before U2 dedicated Moment of Surrender ff to Clemons - and included added some lines from Jungleland to the song.  A bit of The Promised Land was also woven into I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, and Bono read the set list his band played at a club show in Asbury Park around 25 years ago.
