Forty years after Jim Morrison's death, two of his former band mates marked his passing by lighting candles at his grave site in a Paris suburb. Morrison, who died in the City Of Lights on July 2, 1971, was buried in Pere Lachaise, a sprawling cemetery that is also the resting place of a number of other luminaries. Fans of the Doors have been visiting the simple grave site ever since. Sunday (7/3), Doors keyboard player Ray Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger made the trip themselves while in the city for a tribute performance to their late lead singer.
