Carlos Santana has spent much of the past few years anchored in Las Vegas where he did dozens of dates at the Hard Rock concert venue known as The Joint (story). That changes this summer when the veteran guitarist takes to the road for a tour that will cover more than two dozen dates in nine states and a couple of Canadian provinces.  The tour is currently slated to kick-off August 25 in Auburn, Washington and run through an October 1 date in LA.  In a move we think would be a good thing for other artists to consider, Carlos will have comedian George Lopez open several dates on the tour.
