Spider Man Loses Director

The director of the problem wracked musical Spider Man, which has had its official opening postponed for the sixth time, has reportedly left the Broadway show.  Julie Taymor's departure is just the latest casualty for the production (story), which is being called the most expensive musical in history.  A new creative group has been brought in to try and salvage the play that was supposed to debut a year ago.  Bono and The Edge of U2, who wrote the score for the production, recently stepped-up their hands-on involvement in the production as well.  Taymor will reportedly stay on in a limited capacity.  She says the latest delay would have caused scheduling conflicts for other projects she had obligations to.
