A management rep for bizarre pop star Lady GaGa called the sax player for the E Street Band in Florida late on a Friday afternoon to let him know she wanted him to play on her new album. When Clemons said he could get to it the following week he was told, 'No she needs you right now in New York City.' Clemons told Rolling Stone that he was greeted by a gaga GaGa, who ran down the hall, ecstatic that he'd agreed to do it. The Big Man said that playing on the track titled Hair was such a blast he would have done it for free.
