The Rock Hall of Fame looked to steal some thunder from the Grammys by announcing that Neil Young, Elton John and Paul Simon will attend the induction ceremony in New York on March 14 as presenters.  Getting Young to attend any ceremony is a coup.  He will be handing hardware to another artist about as comfortable at an awards show as a fish is on a bicycle, Tom Waits.  Elton does the honors for fellow keyboard great Leon Russell, and Simon will officially welcome Neil Diamond.  Also on hand at the Waldorf Astoria event will be metal master Rob Zombie who welcomes Alice Cooper to the fold.  John Legend will do the same for Dr. John, while Bette Midler  will induct Darlene Love.
