The protest incident that landed Charlie Gilmour in hot water near the end of 2010 now finds the son of Polly Samson and the former Pink Floyd guitarist facing criminal charges.  The young man was photographed scaling a British war memorial during protests over tuition hikes by the British House of Commons in December (story).  His profuse apologies following the episode were apparently not enough to satisfy authorities who, on Thursday (1/27),  filed formal charges against him for violent disorder, and threw in an additional one for allegedly stealing a mannequin leg!  The 17 year-old Gilmour is due to appear in court to answer to the charges on Feb 10 in Westminster.
