Neil Young's work to raise money and awareness to support family farming has won the Canadian born Rocker the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award. The honor for the Farm Aid founding member will be presented during the Juno Awards on March 27 in Toronto. Bryan Adams, Bruce Cockburn and Sarah McLachlan have been honored with the humanitarian award in past years.
Young also stands to pick-up hardware during the presentation for Le Noise. The 2010 Daniel Lanois produced album earned Juno nominations in three categories.
