Brian May has confirmed that the movie about the late Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury has finally gone into production.  The long planned for biopic has cast Sacha Baron Cohen in the lead role.  The Brit actor best known for his Golden Globe winning portrayal of fictional character Borat in the surprise hit film of that name also has Emmy, and Oscar nominations to his credit. May is convinced that Mercury would find 'delight' in the idea of Cohen playing him on the big screen, but projects that the movie will probably not be ready for release until the fall of 2012.  As for the status of Mercury's former band, May says, 'Roger Taylor and I keep an ever-open door for ideas for Queen, a band that somehow refuses to lie down.'  Queen's most recent incarnation featured Bad Company veteran Paul Rogers as lead vocalist.
